What I Wore - Purple Peplum

This dress had been on my wish list since it first popped up online. And I was finally able to snap it up in the huge sale! I want another one now, It's so comfortable!

Again, it looks more blue that purple, but it is purple! It's my first peplum dress, and I was worried I wasn't going to like the style on, but I love it. 

I paired it with my pink tights from We Love Colors. I would have loved to throw on some purple flats, but I don't have any! I think I might need to stock up on some coloured flats.

It is pouring down rain here today in Perth, which is a nice change! I honestly believe it was Wednesday today, until I got to work and opened my calendar, so here is what I've found this week!

What I Wore - Posh Raccoon

Well, I think I've finally recovered from my swollen face fiasco. Thank goodness! I think that was some of the worst pain I've ever had in my life!

Anyway, this is another outfit post from me! I really do love doing outfit posts!

I was really drawn to this top. The raccoon print is super cute, and I love the relaxed fit. And pairing it with my trusty ASOS skirt, makes for the most comfortable outfit ever!

Aussie Curves - Green

I had a whole outfit planned. And then I woke up Saturday when the whole left side of my face swollen and sore, and all plans for outfit pictures went out the window. But, I was looking through some old photos, and found a whole bunch of me in a green dress, so all is not lost!!

I wore this dress to go see a band in February, and quickly snapped these shots before we left.

I am really loving being able to do so many outfit posts! They're so much fun :) This one is another City Chic Skater dress. I just love them so much!

I didn't get this dress in the huge sale that is currently happening, but I did get it on sale. I really find it hard to pay $100 for a dress. But when they're on sale at $40, I'll snap them right up!

I had had my eye on this one for a while, and as soon as I saw it pop up in the sale section I purchased it immediately. And It arrived just in time for me to wear it to my birthday drinks last month. So I was pretty happy!

Things I Love Thursday

Firstly, I want to say that I am LOVING the City Chic sale. I scored my first lot of loot yesterday. I got $240 worth of things for $85. I bought stuff online, so I'm going to go and see what they have in my local store over the weekend as well. Needless to say I have heaps of outfit posts lined up :)

My list is almost exclusively ASOS this week. I haven't had a lot of time to browse the Internet lately, but I check ASOS obsessively at least twice a day.

Why isn't this dress available in Curve?!!?! I have been on the hunt for a dress like this FOR YEARS! And finally pinafores and dungarees are back, and they are in size fat?!?! Unbelievable. I mean, I know SOME are. But not this dress. Which is the dress I want.

What I Wore - My New Favourite Top

This is another one of my birthday purchases. I was swooning over it online, and was so glad when they had it in store (my local doesn't always have the new stock, or much of what's available online). 

They only had a M on the shelf, and I tried it on, and it was WAY too big, but luckily, they had an S out the back! But I could have even gone an XS, it's got a bit of stretch in it. But, that's not even the best bit. The back, oh the back

I Just love it! It looks kinda blue in these photos, but it's vibrant purple.  And, it's my new favourite top.

Life, Lately

Well, I had a cold for most of my weekend. It wasn't so bad that I was confined to my bed, but I did spent a lot of the weekend on the couch feeling a little bit sorry for myself.

I did, however, go to a 4th birthday party, that was dinosaur themed, and I did managed to visit my sister and nephews. So, that was good. 

Last week Jesse and I had date night to go eat Peking Duck. We went to Golden King BBQ in Northbridge, and it was great. And BYO.

For $50 we got 12 pancakes and then duck and noodles. It was HEAPS of food.

Coop wanted to listen to Highway 61 Revisited. 

This is the amazing cake that Abby made. She is so talented!

I received some Every Flavour Beans from my sister for my birthday. We all enjoyed dirt, grass, soap. As well as some traditional flavours. I accidentally eat them in the dark on Sunday night, and got earthworm. It wasn't pleasant. They also got me some cool dinosaur cookie cutters, a dinosaur zip pull, and a Harry Potter Lego keyring. 

Abby and I have decided that we are going on a mission to find the best ribs in Perth. We started at Squires Loft yesterday. We heard that they were the best ribs in Perth. We enjoyed them, but they aren't the best. They aren't BBQ for a start. And the restaurant doesn't have a kids menu. We are hitting up The Classroom next, because their ribs are amazing, and Abby hasn't tried them yet. Here's some photos from our lunch yesterday.
