Things I Love Thursday

I am on a total shopping-for-myself ban until the Christmas sales. The only things I am allowed to buy before then are Christmas presents. So, I think my Things I Love Thursday posts might be rather large for the coming weeks! But, this week is short and sweet.

Via Firefly Collections

How beautiful is this ring? It's a cupcake, so it's totally me, but I just think it is so sweet.

I think this is gorgeous too.

Via Forever21+

I really have no words to describe how much I love this. I need it in my life. I just got a Forever21 order, and I love everything, and I want to do another one. But, shopping ban, so, if someone wants to get me a Christmas present, this would be a good thing :)

Via ASOS Curve

I love this skater dress with the leather skirt. Pity its coming into the warmer weather here and this would be totally impractical.

I love this dress. It's just a beautiful cut, and I love the monochrome!

See, told ya, short and sweet :)

Shop What You Got

I hinted that I was taking part in a new fashion challenge for November. The lovely Jo over at iCurvy World has put together a 'Shop What You've Got' challenge. So, basically I have to pick 30 pieces from my wardrobe, including shoes, belts, etc and only wear them for the month of November. Underwear, swimwear, workout gear is NOT included (phew!).

I've decided to take part for a few reasons: I don't really want to spend any more money on clothes until the Christmas Sales, so I'm going to do some serious savings, and have a massive sale blow out. I also have so much stuff in my wardrobe, and I think it's a good idea to challenge yourself to create new and exciting outfits with limited selections. And also, I'm hopefully moving very soon, which means I can pack up everything that I haven't chosen, and it's all ready to go.

I have chosen:

Dresses - 5
Skirts - 5
Tops - 11
Shoes - 4
Belt - 1
Leggings - 1
Stockings - 1
Jeans - 1
Shorts - 1

I'm actually really looking forward to this challenge. And I've had some new stuff arrived from Forever21 that I've included in my items, so there will be some new things and some remixed things.

I'll be blogging some outfits, and Instagramming all of them (follow along with #shopwhatyougot) also, it's not too late to join it! Head here to read all the details!

Aussie Curves - Retro

YAY! A new outfit post!! Aussie Curves this week is Retro. I had a great time with this last round, and this round I new exactly what I was going to wear.

I bought this dress for my birthday dress a few years ago, and it still remains one of my favourites. It's easy to wear, but feels instantly dressed up.

Please excuse the puffy face. I was so tired when I took these photos!

Quiet Time

Hello everyone!! I know that my blog has been quite for the last week. I have been so busy with work/study/home that I had to put something on the back burner. We got some bad news on Monday that our house sale fell through, which means we have most likely lost the house we want to buy, so that's all I can really worry about at the moment. Plus, I have all my exams coming up. phew! But, never fear, I will still be blogging, just might be quieter for at least the rest of October. I am partaking in an exciting fashion challenge in November, so I'll be back soon to tell you all about it.

Don't miss me too much!

Guest Post - Rachael from Not Actually A Ninja

Hi! Today I've got a guest post from Rachael, who blogs over at Not Acutally A Ninja. She is one of my big sponsors this month, so make sure you pop over and say hi!

Hi guys, my name is Rachael and I run a blog Called Not Actually A Ninja.

Kind of a weird name, but my nickname is Ninja Rach, and I am in fact, not actually a ninja.

My blog is about the things in life that happen to me,or a topic that I feel like discussing that day. Usually my posts involve my weird sense of humor, although I am known to have a bit of a rant about something that's pissed me off that day. However, I find that making people laugh is a much better thing to do, and if it's at my misfortune, then even better.

I am a Cherry Coke and Skittle addict, I spend way too much time on the internet looking for new things to read or listen to, love making cupcakes or chocolates and I have a bad habit of spending ridiculous amounts of money on buying songs off itunes (hey,at least I download music LEGALLY)

I also have a horse. Her name is Lulu. She has issues. Nothing major, just slight jealousy   issues if I am patting another horse and the fact that she escapes her paddock on a regular bases then panics when she can't get back to her friends. Oh and the small problem with her SITTING ON MY LAP!!!
Anyway, make sure you stop by Not Actually A Ninja and say hello.I love hearing from you all :)

Aussie Curves - Pink

PINK! YAY! Pink is my all time favourite colour. Ever. LOVE IT.

This is another skirt I picked up from City Chic in the sweet steals promotion. It's really quite heavy, and stays put, I dig it.

I am also wearing my favourite dinosaur t-shirt. It's pink and has dinosaurs on it, what's not to love?

OK, I admit it. I am officially obsessed with Jelly Bean jellies. AND, they've just brought out pastels. I have a pastel pair in blue, but there are at least 4 other colours I want. And will probably end up buying.  The photos don't do justice to how bright these pink ones are.

Things I Love Thursday

Thursday's just seem to come around way too fast!

Via City Chic

When I first saw this dress, I wasn't sure. But I actually think I really like it. It's a little different, and could be quite a versatile wardrobe piece.

Via Candy Strike
I am LOVING this bee print skater dress from Candy Strike!

Via ASOS Curve

Typical. ASOS would bring out a totally rad velvet dress, just as it's coming into warmer weather here!

I think these shorts are super cute! I love the tartan!

Via Blackheart Creatives

I am totally in love with this brain necklace. I have another necklace from Blackheart Creatives, and it's awesome. This one is definitely going on the wish list!

This little bunny brooch is so cute!!

These rings are just gorgeous!

That's it from me today! Happy Thursday!!

What I Wore - Come On Spring!

We had a lovely taste of spring last week, but it's back to rainy and cold this week :( but I'm not going to let that stop me dressing for spring!

This is another skirt that I picked up from the City Chic sweet steals. They are going to be so great for summer!

I don't know why I'm pulling faces in most of these, but hey, that's my face! I need to head to Kmart and pick up some basic plain t-shirts to wear with these skirts in the warmer weather, but until then, I have my trusty Sonsee stockings. AMAZING.

Aussie Curves - Stripes

I had a hard time deciding what stripes to wear! But seeing as this is a new dress, and I hadn't worn it yet, I thought it would be the perfect time to show it off.

I really love the roundness of my belly in this one

I'm totally all over body con dresses at the moment, I love the way they hug my curves, and when I came across this dress, body con and stripes, I knew I had to have it. Since buying it I've seen a few other bloggers in it, and I just love it!

I'm not wearing shapewear. I don't really believe in it. And it's super uncomfortable!

Shoes (Kmart)

As always, don't forget to check out the other Aussie Curves ladies, and they're stripes posts!
