Things I Love Thursday - Christmas Wish List Edition

I'm finally starting to get into the Christmas spirit! This is a first for me, I'm usually all shopped and wrapped and ready by December 1st. This year, I just wasn't feeling it. But, I'm actually starting to get excited, so I thought I would share what's on my wish list this year. 

First things first, that my Grandmothers, who are both in hospital at the moment, have full recovery's. Please send your good thoughts.

Honest To Blog

I feel like I need to write, but I'm not sure what about. I'm actually probably procrastinating about starting my assignment. I'm a little bit over my studies at the moment. I'm feeling a little be disheartened about it all. I don't like the style of the assignments, and therefore I don't want to do them. 

I've got a bucketload of gardening to do. I hate gardening. I'm bad at it. The front of my house looks atrocious. It's full of weeds. They won't fuck off. I can't afford to get someone in to do it for me. So I just leave it and get angry every time I look out there. 

I'm supposed to be starting a casual retail job. But, they keep stringing me along. I'm getting sick of it. I'm getting bored. So I don't do anything. And then I feel guilty. I feel sad that I could be out doing gardening, but I hate it, so I don't, so I feel sad. 

It's nearly December, and I'm usually super excited about Christmas and have done all my shopping, but I haven't done anything. That makes me feel down. 

Both my Grandmothers are in hospital. It sucks. 

All the stores are sold out of the water filters I need for my water cooler. I'm annoyed at that. 

I might go up to my parents house tomorrow for a swim. Its going to be hot. 

My best friend and her little man just came for a visit. She is super pregnant and super ready to give birth. Kransky and Harrison ran around the house and wore each other out, and now Kransky is snoring, fast asleep on my chair. 

I'm going to have a neurofeedback session, then some lunch. 

I really wish March would hurry up. I want to be married to Jesse already. It's also annoys me when vendors don't reply emails. Why do you have an email contact if you don't use it. I'm trying to book my hair and make-up trial. And I've paid them a deposit. It's annoying. 

And that's everything that's in my brain right now.

I haven't been spending much time looking at anything other than wedding stuff! But, I did come across these awesome dresses!

I have been in love with this dress since it first landed on the ModCloth site. It screams my name with everything. I need this is my life. It's not a want, it is a need.

I've admired the City Chic love lace items for ages. Most of them, however, were peplum tops, and I'm over peplums (on me) but, I am loving this dress. The colour is super gorgeous.

The usual problem with sleeveless sequin dresses is that they're itchy. But, this dress has plain panels down the sides, itchy arm problem solved!! I wish they dress was on the site when I place my last order. I would have snapped it up.

There is just something about this dress that I love. I don't usually gravitate towards green, but I really love this. It's soooo pretty. And would make a pretty good Christmas dress I reckon!!

Shop What You Got - Week 1 Round-Up

I haven't really done anything, or been anywhere exciting this week, except for today, so my uniform has pretty much been denim. Anyway. Week 1 flew by without a hitch!

Day 1

I wore this cute summer dress from Millers. I was just bumming around the house before heading out to a Hen's night that evening (As mentioned before, my outfit for the Hen's Night was not included in the 30 items)

Day 2

Day 2 I had a very important 1st birthday to attend, then was hanging out with my parents. This outfit has been my go to outfit since I acquired all the pieces. I just love it. It's simple and comfortable. Top was from Alex of Jet Georgette and Jeans from ASOS Curve. Shoes are Betts. 

Day 3 & 4

Day 3 I was having a friend for lunch, and Day 4 I was at my folks. This outfit worked for both occasions, so I wore it for both. Top from H&M, Shorts from ASOS Curve and shoes from ASOS. 

Day 5 & 6

I had nothing on these 2 days, so just went with super casual. Skirt from Sainsbury's. Top from Alex at Jet Georgette. I wore a different shirt on day 5, but forgot to photograph it. 

Day 7

Today I had brunch with a friend, and then worked this afternoon. I totally love this ASOS Curve dress, and my betts sandals again. Brain necklace is from Blackheart Creatives.

So, week one, was actually a lot of repeats!! Almost all my denim is in the wash, so hopefully I can branch out into some of my other choices!

October Instagram Round-Up

Hello, Hello!!! I'm still here! I was consumed with illness, and wedding things, and just needed to step back from everything and take some me time. I'm getting back into things now. October was a strange month. It was hard to get back into the swing of work after our trip. And I got sick. Work has been strange. Wedding planning has been good. In any case. I'm looking forward to seeing what November brings!
