What I Wore - Autograph Ponte Pencil Skirt

Apart from my crazy patterned skirts (Cowboy hunks, anyone??!) almost all my skirts are black. So, when I was in my local Autograph store looking for a skirt for this post, I had this one in my hand, and I was 99% sure I was going to buy it. In fact, I was on my way to pay for it, which I spotted something blue out of the corner of my eye. I didn't like it. I thought it would be too straight. I don't like straight skirts on me. I like them tight, or flouncy. But, I loved the colour, so off to the change room I went. Still thinking I would end up buying the black one. I proved myself wrong! I put the blue one on, and instantly loved it. I loved the shape, the way it sits, the fish tail hem. There is no way this skirt wasn't coming home with me.

I'm styling the skirt 2 ways today - a Day look and a Night look. This skirt is so versatile I can go from the office to the bar with barely any effort.

DAY

For this look I have paired the skirt with my favourite City Chic singlet, a belt and my clear glitter jellies. I would wear this to work, out shopping, or even a lunch date.

NIGHT

For night, I threw on a lacey top, a statement necklace and some heels, and I'm good to go! I love that the blue adds a pop of colour without being too over the top, and I just love what this skirt does to my behind!

Life Lately

The week and weekend just gone was totally nuts! It was so jam packed, I barely had time to think. But, it was super duper fun!

The Perth Curvettes had a stall at Market Plus, and decided to spend our profits on sushi.

Monday night we went to see Abandoman at Fringe. It was so great!

I've been making batches and batches of Ginger, Apple & mint ice tea.

My office is all set up

YEAH A TWISTIE!

Friday night we went to see Bruce Springsteen. You may remember last March my sister and I flew to Sydney to see him. I never thought less than 12 months later he would be back, and playing a show in Perth. This show was WAY better than Sydney. And we had amazing seats, and he walked right past me!

Some outfits from the weekend

Saturday night the Perth Curvettes came round. I went full on cupcake

Sunday I had a all day meeting

Last night we had dinner with friends

I love this bone head.

Aussie Curves - Valentines Day

I won't be going on a date on Valentines Day. 1, because it's a Friday and Jesse works till late, and 2, because he doesn't 'do' Valentines Day. I get where he is coming from, there are far more special days for us to celebrate our love for each other, but still, I want a sparkly ring on my finger, and I want it now!! Although, I did ask for a bacon bouquet.

Anyway, if I was going out, this is totally what I would wear

I know this is very similar to this outfit, but I really do love this top. I chose this skirt because it's tight, and feely, which in my mind means it's more sexy. Plus my butt looks amazing in this skirt.

Seriously, I would take myself out on a date wearing this. Plus, I love pink and black together.

Skirt - Harlow

What I Wore - Sunday Casual

So, technically I wore this on a Monday, but it still counts, because I would have worn it if the show I wore it too was on a Sunday...if that makes sense??

If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen this skirt already. It's probably my all time favourite skirt ever in the history of skirts.

Yeah, that's right. It's a cowboy hunks skirt. As soon as I saw this baby, I knew it had to be mine.

I like to keep my top and shoes pretty simple when I wear this skirt. It needs to be the star of the outfit.

Shoes - Jelly Beans

I really need to tidy my backyard! Anyway, there you have it my casual Sunday outfit with my absolute favourite skirt!

What I Wore - Gauzy & Date Night

I know that Date Night isn't one of the Summer Style Challenges, but this is something I would totally wear on a date night, so I made it one. I do what I want.

When I first put this top on, I hated it. But, I changed bras, and now I love it and want all the colours!

I also think this outfit is a great example of my 'punk cupcake' style. Jesse better ask me on a date soon so I can wear this!

Shoes - Wittner
