Aussie Curves - Picnic

I'm cheating ever so slightly today. I did a picnic post as part of our Perth Curvettes Summer Style Challenge, and I'm using the same shots. But, this dress is such a perfect picnic dress!!

I am currently obsessed with these dresses. I'm some how accumulated 7 in a very short period of time. They fit my 'punk cupckae' aesthetic perfectly. Plus who doesn't feel ultra feminine in a twirly skirt and a big petticoat?

Things I Love Thursday

I had all good intentions to blog every day this week. Then I woke up today and realized it was Thursday, and I've done 1 post. Oh well!! I have 3 assignments due so I've been a busy little bee.

First off - how good is peanut butter toast. I'm eating some right now, and it's too good. I have to go make some more.

I haven't spent a lot of time on the internet this week, but I did come across 3 Hell Bunny (are you surprised?) cardigans that I NEED!

That's actually it this week. I know, how boring!! Oh well!! I'll be back with some more double take posts, as soon as the rain stops

What I Wore - Sunday Errands to Sunday Brunch

This was probably the hardest of the Double Takes for me. I would probably wear the same outfit for both of these outings. I would make a point to chose and outfit that was appropriate for both. But, seeing as this is a challenge, I had to think differently. When standing in front of my wardrobe, all my dresses says 'pick me, pick me' my eyes fell upon my robot dress, and I didn't think twice. I knew it was the one.

SUNDAY ERRANDS

I kept it simple with a crop cardi, and some almost flats! I actually wear this outfit quite a bit. It's so easy to wear, and always looks good!

Dress - City Chic
Cardigan - Target (really old)
Shoes - Kmart
Robot necklace - Lovisa (present)

SUNDAY BRUNCH

A quick shoe and jewelry change and I'm ready for brunch! I decided on my clogs, they're so comfortable!

Dress - City Chic
Shoes - Wittner
Necklace - Domino Dollhouse

So, that's my Sunday Errands to Sunday Brunch look. This dress is so versatile though, I can't think of many situations where it's not appropriate.

What I Wore - Day to Night

It's my first March Perth Curvettes challenge!! This month is double take month, so I'll be bringing you a series of double take outfits all month!

I was waiting for this dress to arrive for this challenge. Mostly because I just want to wear it everywhere.

DAY

total resting bitch face in this photo! I was squinting at the sun!

this is my newest Hell Bunny dress. For day I've kept the accessories simple with my everyday cupcake pendant, some bangles and some flats. I went out looking for a pair of yellow peep toe flats the other day, and found this for $2.98!

Dress - Hell Bunny
Necklace - Tiffany & Co (similar)
Bangles - ASOS Curve
Shoes - Big W (similar)

Night

For night, I threw on a petticoat, my new favourite shoes (seriously I have never owned a pair of platform wedges so comfortable) and changed my necklace. I would probably throw some make up on too, but it was hot yesterday and I couldn't be bothered for the purposes of this shoot.

Dress - Hell Bunny
Petticoat - Hell Bunny
Necklace - can't remember!

So that's my day to night look. I'm thinking about wearing the night look on my date with Jesse tomorrow night. It's the first time in the history of ever he has had a Saturday night off, so we are going to do something.

Things I Love Thursday

WOW! It's Thursday all ready?!? I haven't even done any of my Perth Curvettes March outfit shots yet! Best get on that.

Honestly, I've spent most of this weeks looking at pretty Hell Bunny dresses...but, in between that here is what I've come across!

Firstly, my parents. They just bought me and Jesse flights to London for our 30th birthdays. We are so grateful it's beyond words. We are there for nearly the whole of September. I'm so excited.

I love this top! I would prefer the pink was brighter and less coral, but it's still cool.

BooHoo have just launched their plus size range, and it's pretty impressive, and affordable. I would love to have these 2 pieces in my winter wardrobe! They colours and styles are pretty on trend - but I'd like to see some edgier pieces.

Because I need another pair of black platform shoes. But these are so pretty!

Short and sweet today. These posts will probably get bigger as I enforce a tight savings budget to have money to blow overseas!

Aussie Curves - Off the Runway

When I was researching this post, I came across the most hilarious outfits, but then a very informative Vogue article which said that monochrome is still ruling in stripes. WAHAY!! So with this information, I came up with this outfit. Which I wore a modified version off (flat shoes, no belt) to see Neko Case last week.

I love this skirt. I managed to nab it off Alex from Jet Georgette.

Belt - ASOS Curve
Skirt - ASOS Curve

So that's my off the runway look. Don't forget to check out the other ladies doing the challenge!
