Shop What You Got - Week 1 Round-Up

I haven't really done anything, or been anywhere exciting this week, except for today, so my uniform has pretty much been denim. Anyway. Week 1 flew by without a hitch!

Day 1

I wore this cute summer dress from Millers. I was just bumming around the house before heading out to a Hen's night that evening (As mentioned before, my outfit for the Hen's Night was not included in the 30 items)

Day 2

Day 2 I had a very important 1st birthday to attend, then was hanging out with my parents. This outfit has been my go to outfit since I acquired all the pieces. I just love it. It's simple and comfortable. Top was from Alex of Jet Georgette and Jeans from ASOS Curve. Shoes are Betts.

Day 3 & 4

Day 3 I was having a friend for lunch, and Day 4 I was at my folks. This outfit worked for both occasions, so I wore it for both. Top from H&M, Shorts from ASOS Curve and shoes from ASOS.

Day 5 & 6

I had nothing on these 2 days, so just went with super casual. Skirt from Sainsbury's. Top from Alex at Jet Georgette. I wore a different shirt on day 5, but forgot to photograph it.

Day 7

Today I had brunch with a friend, and then worked this afternoon. I totally love this ASOS Curve dress, and my betts sandals again. Brain necklace is from Blackheart Creatives.

So, week one, was actually a lot of repeats!! Almost all my denim is in the wash, so hopefully I can branch out into some of my other choices!

October Instagram Round-Up

Hello, Hello!!! I'm still here! I was consumed with illness, and wedding things, and just needed to step back from everything and take some me time. I'm getting back into things now. Slowly getting my motivation back. So, I thought I would drop in with an October Instagram round-up. I honestly have no idea how it's November already!

Babe'd around with these babes.

Harry & Kransky playing ball

Totally in love with this outfit.

Best. Chocolate. Ever.

Moved away from iPhone. Best thing ever.

My rabbits like to hang in the toilet and watch people pee.

Lychee iced tea and The Office.

I made pickles!
October was a strange month. It was hard to get back into the swing of work after our trip. And I got sick. Work has been strange. Wedding planning has been good. In any case. I'm looking forward to seeing what November brings!

Things I Love Thursday

I have a massive wish list at the moment. There is just so much cool stuff around! This weeks features are high on my list!

Via Lady V London

I am totally in love with this dress. I'm hoping to get it for Christmas (hint hint Jesse, love of my life). It's just me, all over!

Via Pinup Girl Clothing

I keep going back to look at this dress. The only reason it's not in my wardrobe, is they don't have my size. They have it in other styles, but the elephants are the best!

Via Pinup Girl Clothing

It's the same story with this skirt. They don't have it in my size. But it's totally got the quirky factor that I like in skirts. I hope this will be mine one day.

I love a good novelty handbag, and this french fries one would make a great addition to my little collection :)

Zombie shoes <3!!!

Is anyone else finding it hard to believe that the shops are filled with Christmas stuff already? Where did this year go?!?!

Shop What You Got 2014

You may remember in November last year, I took part in iCurvy's 'Shop What You Got' challenge. And, I'm doing it again this year!

The whole idea is to not buy anything new in the month of November, and live out of a capsule wardrobe. I have picked 30 items of clothing, including shoes, not including belts, jewellery, accessories, underwear, uniforms, bathers or gym clothing, and I will only be wearing those 30 items for the whole of November.

Every Friday I will be blogging my weekly outfits. There are 2 occasions in November where I will be breaking the rules. I have a Hen's night which a dress code, and a Wedding to attend. Both of these events I will be dressing out of the capsule wardrobe.

I will be back later to share my items with you!

If you want to join in, you can read all about it here

What I Wore - Geo Dress

I hadn't planned on an outfit post today. I haven't washed my hair, I've got no make-up on, but hey, I really love what I'm wearing. And, I'm not polished all the time. I'm doing nothing but work and study today, no reason to get dolled up. But, I still look cute!

Ok, so I don't normally wear shoes at home, and I did throw these on just for the purposes of this post, but they are cute shoes, and I wanted to include them!!

I managed to score this dress from my friend Sarah from Sarahiously Me when we had a catch up on Friday night. Although I wish the mesh panel was in the front of the dress (and yes, I tried to wear it back to front and nearly strangled myself), I love it. It is a great summer dress, easy to throw on an wear. And the pattern and mesh panel give it an extra kick.

Dress - Forever21+ (got at clothes swap)
Belt & Necklace - Target
Shoes - Betts

I can already tell that this dress is going to get a lot of wear this summer. And these shoes. I saw them before I went away, but couldn't justify buying them. Then I can back and they were half price, I wasted no time in snapping them up!

Anyway, guess I should kick these shoes off and get back to work!!

What I Wore - Dinner in Paris

It's been AGES since I've done an outfit post!! I'm totally ready to get back into the swing of snapping my outfits. But, as I was getting dressed to go out for dinner in Paris, I thought that some outfit shots to share at a later date was a good idea, and I was right!

ALL BLACK EVERYTHANG! Yep, this is another City Chic tunic. They are just so comfortable and versatile. I knew I had to take this baby travelling because I can dress it up easily for night time, and it also looks great sans belt and with trainers for day time walking.

Tights - City Chic

This was the perfect outfit for dinner our first night in Paris. We had been resting in the afternoon, so I had time to actually get dressed properly and put make up on! Then make Jesse take my pictures.
