Perth Curvettes May & June Challenge

Hello!! It's May! Can anyone actually believe it's May already? But anyway, that means there is a fresh Perth Curvettes style challenge. This one spans over 2 months, and it's focusing on parts of the body. 

We want to highlight those areas that people tend to have issue with, talk about them. We are all about breaking out of our own comfort zones, as well as helping others break out of theirs. We believe by talking about those areas that we don't quite love yet, we can learn to love them. 

It's through reading others journeys, and talking to like minded people, that we've all come to love ourselves for who we are. 

So, over the next 2 months we will be highlighting different parts of our bodies and showing them off. And we want you to join in too!! Dinosaur Day Out

A couple of weeks ago, my Dad called me and told me he was taking my nephews to see the dinosaurs, and would I like to go. As if I was going to say no to that!! I'd been dying to see this exhibit. 

this strange dude was just dancing to CD's. No special dancing or act or anything. It was really odd.

Apart from being insanely busy, and having a 20 minute wait (it was school holidays) I still had a really good time. It's on for a good long while, so if you want to check it out, you can. And, school holidays are over, so you should be able to avoid too many crowds!!

What I Wore - Birthday Girl

So, I told you all about my birthday adventures the other day. While we were driving to Freo, Jesse took me on a detour to a park that had dinosaurs in it!! I decided that some impromptu outfit shots were in order. The lighting is terrible, but hey, it's me, with dinosaurs!!

Birthday Recap

That was another fun filled weekend! I'm sick now though :( Oh well, at least I have a quite week ahead of me to rest and recover. And I'll be back to normal programming on the blog too!!

So, Friday was my 30th birthday!! I had 3 days filled with fun. 

On Friday we took a road trip to Cervantes to see the Pinnacles.

On the drive I said that I wanted to see an Emu, and I did!!

It was a super fun road trip. I had never been before, so I really enjoyed it. Once we got back to Perth, we picked Kransky up from his sleep over, hot-footed it home to have some dinner, and the skipped back out to Freo to see Stereoflower play their first show in 6 months. It was awesome. I was so tired by the time we got home though!!

Saturday I worked in the morning, then my brother Alex, who is home from Melbourne, and I went to see Spider-Man 2. We headed in a bit early and played games at TimeZone till the film. The film was awesome, we both really enjoyed it. 

Sunday I had a lunch date with the Perth Curvettes. We headed to an all you can eat buffet and Dusit Thai. It was amazing.

After lunch we decided to go do some cardio, and by cardio of course I mean shopping. I didn't end up buying anything, but that's ok, the girls all came away with some bargains. 

But, it's all caught up with me, and now I'm not feeling so great, so I'm spending the day curled up on the couch watching zombie films.
