Christmas Wish List

HOLD THE PHONE!?! IS IT REALLY YOU??! ARE YOU ACTUALLY WRITING A BLOG POST?!!? Yes, yes I am. Well, a wish list. I wanted to collate my wish list all in one place, and this seems like a good place to do it.

Quick run down of what has been happening in my life - working, growing a tiny human, working, sleeping. That's about my life right now. And, you'll see almost all of my wish list is stuff for growing tiny human. I'm sure this list will grow in 4 weeks when we find out the sex.

I really like the idea of a video monitor. And this one gets good reviews!

There is so much stuff we need. And so much more stuff I could have added to this list, but these are the things I have been lusting over since even before I was pregnant, so they made the list.

5 Things

5 things that are making me happy right now:

1 - My photo wall. I finally got around to starting it on Sunday. It contains just wedding photos at the moment, but I will add others eventually.

2 - Dates with my husband. Always a good thing. I work days, and Jesse works nights. Sometimes we can go a while without seeing each other. It's nice to spend some us time when we can.

3 - Solo movie dates. I used to do this all the time, I don't know why I stopped. But recently I've been going again to movies by myself, it's great! I'm going to try to go to at least 1 per fortnight.

4 - Banoffee hot chocolate. It's the bomb. I bought a jar about a fortnight ago, and I've nearly had it all. I'm addicted. It's amazing.

5 - Catch ups with my bestie. I always leave feeling good. I went round to her place on Sunday and had the best time. I played with her toddler son, cuddled with her baby daughter, we all went for churros, and chatted over cups of tea. I'm so lucky to have her, and her family, in my life.

Aussie Curves - Red

It's been a good long while since I've done an Aussie Curves post! But, seeing as I was posting these outfit shots, and it fit with this weeks theme, I thought I had better join in.

I wore this outfit to lunch with the girls on Wednesday. We went for burgers...mmmm burgers...

I am a recent red convert. I was terribly opposed to the colour red until very very recently. So many people moaned the fact that red would look amazing on me with my hair etc, and I shot them down. But, it's true, red looks great on me.

Oh hello rouge bit of tissue on my foot, where did you come from? Ruin my shot why don't you!?!

Cardi - City Chic
Top - City Chic
Jeans - City Chic
Shoes - Chocolaticas

Yep, I'm wearing all City Chic. Now that I work there it's taken over my wardrobe. Not that I'm complaining!

Beauty Products I Am Loving

I am a recent Australis convert. Every single product I tried, I have loved, and as I'm using up current supplies, I am replacing them with Australis ones. These are my current favourites:

Via Australis Cosmetics

I have oily skin. I also have super sensitive react to everything skin. This has been a saviour. I love it! It keeps everything shine free, and stops makeup sliding off my face. I use it over my foundation for everyday, but on days I just want a light coverage, I use it on it's own. In my opinion, this powder is a great, versatile product. And even comes with a handy sponge and mirror for any reapplying needs!

Via Australis Cosmetics

This was the product that started it all. The AC on Tour highlighting and contouring palette. I super love it! I've hit the pan on my favourite highlighter in the palette!

Via Australis Cosmetics

Stayput liner in midnight. I rarely believe an eyeliner when it claims to be stayput, but this one has lived up to the 12 hour test. It definitely doesn't stay as bold as when first applied, but still holds up quite well, in my opinion.

And lastly, the Velourlips lipstick. I have 5 of these babies now, and I love them! They are long wearing, and the colours are beautiful! I will probably end up owning them all!!

What products have you been loving lately?

June Instagram Round-Up

Hello hello! Long time no see! I thought I would drop in with a little Instagram round up. Can anyone else believe the year is half over already???!? PS I'm posting this from my phone, so I hope it works!

Hello!

Hello! Hello everyone! Wow, I didn't realise it has been so long since my last post!!

I'm changing things up a bit around here. I'm not quite 100% sure how I want that to look just yet, which is why I haven't been around. I know I want to take away all paid advertising, I'll probably still offer swaps, but I'm not quite sure yet. Also, I want to get back to sharing recipes and other things, not just outfits. I'm also not going to put pressure on myself to post everyday. Once I've got it all figured out, I'll be back. It won't be too much longer, I'm sure!

The Wedding (Very Photo Heavy!)

Wow, where do I begin?? Well, first off, a hurricane decided to hit WA the day before our wedding. I had to change my plans. There would be rain, and no avoiding it. So, I moved my outdoor ceremony onto a veranda. I was really upset and panicked about it at first, but I think it was a blessing in disguise.

My dessert bar

The day before the wedding was setup day. The great thing about doing it all DIY is I got to have it looking exactly how I wanted it to look. Our families really pitched in and helped here, and we really appreciate it. We simply could not have done it without their help.

My bouquet

We were staying at the venue, and we decided to spend that night together. It was lovely. We were so exhausted from setting up, that we both got a really good nights sleep. We got up and had breakfast with my brother and sister-in-law, who were also staying there, before we both headed off to our respective getting ready locations.

Yep. I totally wore sneakers to my wedding.

My necklace says 'Jesse's Girl'

It rained basically right up until the time I arrived in the driveway of the venue. It stopped for our ceremony, and then started again for about an hour, then the rest of the night was lovely. It was very humid. So humid that my hair dropped, and most of my makeup slid off my face. But I don't care. I had the absolute best night ever. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Everything was absolutely perfect. Everyone says 'you'll run out of time, and you won't remember things, and it's all a blur' It wasn't. I spent time with everyone. I was relaxed the whole night. And it wasn't a blur. It was exactly how i wanted it to be. The only thing I would have changed is getting to eat dessert. It was all gone by the time I got there!!!

I also loved all the vendors I chose. They all turned out to be amazing, and I'm so thankful that they were part of our day.

We didn't have any bridesmaids or groomsmen. We did include our niece and nephews though!

Isn't it lovely when things just work?

My mum. She looked absolutely gorgeous

I just adore this photo of my brother Tim hugging Jesse

My sister-in-law Abby was telling me she wasn't going to cry, then balled her eyes out.
