Life Lately - Christmas!

Wowzers! what a crazy weeks it's been! I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas. I did. I got my tattoo finished, I watched 25 Christmas movies (yep, I did it!), I made lots of desserts for Christmas feasts. Here is some photos from the last week.

I've got a bucket load of posts scheduled for the next few days (weeks!) I'll be sharing the recipes from my Christmas baking, and there will be outfit posts (I got a HEAP of new clothes) I will hopefully start participating the the Aussie Curves posts! And the regular photo dumps and Things I Love Thursdays will be back :)

I've got a very exciting 2013 coming up, and I can't wait to share it through this blog. 

I hope everyone has a very safe and wonderful New Year celebration. Me, I'm off to see Mulder, then heading up to my parents for food and champagne, and to ring in the New Year with my lovely prince.

PS This is the first post from my brand new MacBook Pro! I have freaking out over how wonderful it is. And how all my photos are on the cloud and are just there for me to blog, without any effort. I am so in love.

Only 5 sleeps!! Today is also my last day of work, then I am on holidays for 2 weeks! I am so looking forward to winding down and letting my mind relax for a bit. Also, spending time with my sweetheart.

Lately - Springsteen, Bunnies & Dresses

I am so excited that it is only 6 days until Christmas! I have only got today and tomorrow left of work, and then I am on holidays. Friday (providing the world doesn't end) I'm getting my leg tattoo finished (!!) and then I'm going to an End of The World, Last Supper party. I have to bring the meal I would want to eat if it was my last. I am having trouble with this, because I love food so much, it's hard to narrow down what I would want the last thing I eat to be. I'm strongly leaning towards cake.

I am doing well on my 25 Christmas Movies before Christmas Day task. I will post about this in a couple of days. 

So, here is what's been happening with me these last few days!

My Sister and I bought tickets to go and see Bruce Springsteen in March. Now, of course, he isn't coming to Perth, where we live, so we are flying over East to see him. This is exciting. We are leaving all partners and kids at home and having a Sisters weekend!

Friday night when I curled up to watch a Christmas movie before Jesse got home, Kitty decided to curl up on me. 

My best friends head about 2 hours our of the city for Christmas, so we usually have our own catch up before they go. This year it was burritos. I got so super spoiled! I got 3 things for my Asos wishlist. A dress, an extra pouffy skirt and a collar.

 I snapped these cute pictures of the bunnies enjoying their dinner.

Excuse the quality and the facial expressions on these photos. I just got a new tripod, and I was playing around with it quickly yesterday. This is my new dress! I wore it to go meet Jesse at Print Hall last night for a few drinks and a meal at The Apple Daily.

I paired my new dress with my new Jump From Paper bag!

And these 2 I just thew in because I was playing with my tripod again this morning. Hopefully i'll get better at posing, and my face won't look so dumb :) This is one of my new favorite outfits. The shirt, because it has a bunny on it, and the skirt is just so comfy. I have it in black as well.

The next couple of days will see lots of Christmas baking, so keep an eye out for all the deliciousness!

Life, Lately

2 weeks!! woo hoo!! At the beginning on December, I decided to see if I could fit in 25 Christmas movies by Christmas day (post about this coming soon!). Now, that seems pretty simple, 1 per day, but it's not that easy. With all the catch-up engagements, and things, I don't get the chance to watch 1 per day, but I've watched 14 already (yep, really) and I've made plans to watch my last one, Love Actually, with my mama on Christmas Eve with bubbles and chocolate :)

So, this is what has been happening around here lately

Jesse bought me these awesome straws! You can BUILD YOUR OWN STRAW! It's amazing. 

This was my first straw. But, at dinner the other night, we were discussing how I could build a straw with 3 ends, so I could, for example, drink from 3 glasses, or bottles, at once, and make a cocktail. The possibilities are endless!!

I ate this Kinder Santa

I went to the shop to get some last minute Christmas things, and this for $4. I couldn't possibly leave the store without it. 

I had some cuddles with Kitty. When I'm lying on my side on the couch, he insists on lying on my side.

I put up my new snowflake lights. I originally put them here, on the shelves in the lounge, but then I changed my mind and moved them to the bedroom.

I made a yummy stir fry on Sunday night (recipe to come!)

I bought and ate this giant pretzel.

I LOVE banana paddle pops, I've got a box stashed in the freezer at work. In fact, I might go have one right now!

Things I Love Thursday

19 days to go!! woop!

It was my oldest brothers birthday yesterday, and we went out for dinner to celebrate. We went to this lovely Japanese place called Bonsai. Becuase there is so many of us, we had a banquet menu, which is good, because you get to try a bit of everything. A lot of it was seafood though, but I still felt full. Especially after my Creme Brulee. My Sister and I teamed up to buy Sam a R2D2 lego. It is pretty awesome. I've told him I want him to post photo updates as he builds it.
