Life, Lately - Jemima

So, last Friday my Mum picked up her new little baby. And my goodness she is so adorable. These photo's don't even capture just how little she is. Her name is Jemima, and she's about 7 weeks old. And I apologise in advance for the amount of pictures!

I get to go and hang out with her tonight as well, I'm so excited! She is just the most adorable thing! Oh, and her favourite toy is a dinosaur! 

Aussie Curves - Texture

I've been looking forward to this challenge, as soon as I saw it on the list, I knew I had the perfect dress. 

I've had it on my wishlist as soon as I saw in pop up at ASOS. And, I was finally able to nab it in the sales. It's amazing, and I love it. I haven't had an opportunity to wear it out anywhere yet, but I'm so going to enjoy it when I do!

I just love everything about this dress. The tulle skirt, the lacey top, it makes me feel a bit like a ballerina when I wear it. 

I teamed it with my favourite pair of black flatforms. And I'm not much of an accessories person, but I did throw on some bangles.

Happy For

I've just been thinking about things that I've been happy about this week.

Homemade popsicles  - I have been loving making my own popsicles. They are really so easy to make, and super refreshing.

Snuggling with Jesse watching The Walking Dead in bed - We only started watching this  recently, and only have 3 episodes to go before we are up to date. We are both really enjoying it. I have a thing for Hershel's eyebrows. 

Cooler evenings - Monday night was so unbearably hot...the second hottest night since the 80's or something. And sleep didn't really happen, so it's been lovely to have cooler nights the last few days.

Raspberries - I LOVE raspberries. I am will to shell out the nearly $8 a punnet for them, because I love them so. And I've had some seriously great ones lately.

Lovely blog comments - It's so lovely to read everyone's super lovely comments. I am always so touched when someones leaves one. 

Have a wonderful weekend everyone. I'm off to my parents house to meet my Mum's new little puppy, I can't wait!! I'm sure there will be plenty of photos :)

I can't believe it's Thursday already! This week as just flown by. And I have so many exciting things coming up over the next couple of weeks. Mum is getting her new puppy, Jesse and I are moving, I'm selling my house...it's all very exciting!

Life, Lately

Urgh. It's so hot today. And it was hot all night. I slept badly, and I feel icky. Anyway, enough complaining. 

We had dinner at Rockpool last night. It was Jesse's brothers birthday dinner. I got to enjoy another one of those amazing burgers. But, I got dessert this time. oh boy. I also ate the burger properly, none of this knife and fork business. It was just as good as the last time I ate it.

That's what's been going on in my world this last week. I have so many blog posts planned. I actually bought myself a blog post planner, and all of January and February is filled. There will be more outfit posts, more recipes, and general blog goodness. I'm really excited!

Aussie Curves - Secondhand

Almost all of the clothes I buy second hand are over sized  ridiculously patterned or coloured men's cardigans. Or women's jumpers with applique. I have a thing for jumpers and cardigans like these. Seeing as it's hot, and all of these lovely jumpers/cardigans are away for the summer, I was left with only one option. A black waistcoat I picked up about 2 years ago

I love wearing it with a t-shirt and skirt, or jeans. So, I thought for this post I would team it with my favourite dinosaur t-shirt, and maxi skirt.
