Aussie Curves - Peplum

I love the peplum trend. I have quite a few tops, and one dress, and I'm always on the hunt for more. For this weeks challenge, I wanted to show a peplum I hadn't shown before.

Kransky decided to photobomb, but I don't mind.

I love the soft pink colour of this peplum, and it's super stretchy and comfortable.

As always, check out the other ladies taking part!

What I Wore - Pinafore Obessed

It was totally inevitable that I would buy this dress. I mean, I had too.

Let me break it down. It's a pinafore (my all-time, forever on the lookout, always wanted style of dress), it's cotton, so it's super light weight, can I can wear it in summer. It has pockets.

I know it's bee said before, but dresses with pockets are the best things ever. I took Kransky for a walk wearing this, and I just chucked everything in my pockets, and off we went.

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. Wish us luck that we sell our house!!

Things I Love Thursday

I am super excited about getting a new house, because it means I can get new 'things'. I've been on the lookout!

I don't know what it is about this sign, I just really like it.

Ok, it's pink, it's got a flamingo on it, I need it. It's really a cake stand, but I would like to maybe use it as a jewelry holder, or for keys and stuff near the front door.

I love these colourful planters!

I really like this leather dress from ASOS Curve.

I took a look around the new UK Plus Size label Pink Clove yesterday, and while I love almost everything, these 2 items in particular caught my eye. I'm hoping to find a really rad jumpsuit for summer.

These pictures are so adorable!

Also, this article. It's written so well, and it is so true. Even if you aren't fat, read it.

What I Wore - I am Unstoppable

I feel like I need this to be my motto at the moment. I am feeling so overwhelmed with what is going on in my life at the moment. But, when I put on this shirt today, I thought 'yeah, I am unstoppable. I can do it!' And so, I'm gunna.

I knew that this t-shirt had to be mine as soon as I saw it on Torrid. Then, when one of my friends told me she was placing an order, I didn't even think twice about getting this.

I am also so in love with these jeans. They are so comfortable, and I think they look great.

So, every time I am feeling down, I'm going to put this shirt on and remember, I am fierce  I can do anything, and I am UNSTOPPABLE!!!

Life Lately

I feel like I have so much to catch up on, but really I don't! I haven't been doing anything except work, house stuff, study. But, I've managed a few snaps. Mostly of Kransky.

It was Mum's birthday last Monday, so we went out for lunch

True Love

Doughnuts with condensed milk ice cream. Oh. My. Goodness.

I ate them like this.

The coolest shirt I have ever owned arrived. Riker 4eva!

We got some nice days last week. Kransky sat and guarded the office door while soaking up the sun.

When we are at home during the day, he has to check every now and again nothing is going on outside.

Date night this week was waffles. I had S'mores, Jesse had apple pie. Seriously good.

We took Kransky for his first walk!

My new blog business cards!
And that's it really! I really hope the rain clears up before tonight so we can take Kransky for another walk! Although, he does have a rain coat :)

Aussie Curves - $50 outfit

I'm back! I took a week off from blogging. It was nice, albeit strange. I didn't partake in last weeks Aussie Curves challenge. I've written a lot about my path to body love, and I post photos of myself in all sorts of different, challenging outfits, and lay out my vulnerabilities on a regular basis. But, I enjoyed reading all the other ladies posts!

This weeks theme is $50 outfit. This was a hard one for me! But I like what I came up with.

I love this dress. I picked it up early this year for a mere $7. I had been lusting after it for ages, and just never bought it. When I saw it for $7, I knew the time had come.

Long Sleeved Crop Top - $15 (on sale) - ASOS
Dress - $7 (on sale) - Avella at Big W
Leggings - $8 - KMart
Belt - $13 (on sale) - ASOS Curve
Shoes - $7 - KMart

Total - $50.00

You can't tell, but I am so grumpy in these photos. I had just been to vote, and gotten absolutely soaked. My shoes are so wet, and my feet are freezing. Then I got to work to a power cut.

Be sure to check out the other ladies $50 outfits!
